You have questions, we have answers. Here are some of the typical questions we are asked:

Q: How much does Rise Above cost?

A: Prices vary depending on the house, but range from $150-$200 per week.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Clothes and toiletries are suggested. Wifi is provided, so electronic devices are also permissible.

Q: What shouldn’t I bring?

A: Drugs, alcohol, weapons, or pets.

Q: Do I cook my own food?

A: While house supplies are provided, Rise Above residents are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own food. If you want to help your loved one with food expenses, a gift card to a local grocer is recommended.

A: Medications are the responsibility of the resident. Rise Above is not a medical facility.

Q: Is it mandatory to have a job during my stay?

A: In order to foster structure and responsibility, residents are encouraged to work. However, a job is not mandatory. Residents must be actively working a recovery program of their choice.

A: Yes, we have both single and double rooms. Single rooms are subject to availability.

Q: What is your visitor policy?

A: Visitors are allowed, but permission must be granted.

Q: Can I have my car?

A: Yes.

Q: What is the typical length of stay?

A: Residents may stay as long as it takes to transition to their own housing. Rise Above does not have a length of stay limitation.

Q: How long do I need to be sober to be admitted?

A: Applicants must have a minimum of thirty days clean. When possible, applicants with less than thirty days will be given a referral to treatment resources.
